I am gonna try to do a Bird within a Bird within a Bird Job this year anyone do it?

I did pheasant inside a chicken inside a turkey once and it was rather hard work boning each bird out so that the whole lot could be stitched together. I coated the outside of the pheasant with butter and seasoning before putting into the chicken then did the same again before putting chicken in the turkey. Cooking time was difficult to estimate so I shoved a meat thermometer into the ensemble to check it was cooked. Tasted wonderful but a bit of a fuss to do.
Old Hugh fearlessly eatitall did about 7 birds starting with snipe I think, on TV and it's also in one of his books.

mmmm a swan (nor goose for commoners) inside a turkey inside an ostridge.
I never heard of this bird in a bird in bird thing before and now I have heard it mentioned a handful of times over last few days:confused:

Aparentley off Hugs Web Site..you get the Turkey Bonned out and then Cut all the breast :eek:...off the other birds and do it that way..
I fancey Turkey Goose Duck Phesant Guinee Fowl Peigion partridge thats the so called eight..aparentley lining each of the birds with seasoned stuffing before the next and then Stich up the Turkey :confused:
Use all the Bones from the Birds to make a Gravy with a slosh of re wine ..yum
have a look at his site some good stuff..followed all his programes..
