Tried to tip the front seat up today but it is jammed.
Handle goes up and down at the top, but it doesn't seem to release at the bottom.

Nothing in the Haynes book!

Does anyone know how to cure this problem?

Exploded diagram of the mrchanism would be handy.

I would guess that the cable (no. 3 in diag) has either broken or come off. Fiddly ...

Problem found, cable clips broken on the one side.
Do you know the part number of the cables, no3 in diagram?

Yep that's HHS10004L, cable release mechanism.

Dunsfold (http://www.dunsfold.com) have them at £9.25.

Glad you found the problem :)

I think you would have to go through and try and eliminate things. Relay, switch, temperature sensor ... ?
