pollen filter

hi got given a pollen filter for my 1999 freelander looked under the passanger side footwell but cant see where it goes.The one ive been given is paper in a in a flexable plastic frame with 4 screw holes to screw it into the houseing can anyone point me in the right place(sorry for being abit thick)

Hmm... the filters with four screws are for freelanders after year 2001.
On pre-2001 vehicles the filter its secured with three screws. Is located beneath the left hand side of the facia in the heater inlet system. Unscrew and pull out from the housing.
