Can anybody advise if a fuel tank guard for a Range Rover classic will fit a Discovery 300?

The guy who is selling it says he thinks it will proably fit but I want to be sure before I say yes.

If you mean the fuel tank cradle (no.7 in attached pic), yes it's exactly the same part fro all RRC and Disco 1 - part no NTC5787

Thanks Bernie, no it's not the cradle but an aftermarket tank guard (armour plating!!) That information helps as at least I know the tanks are the same shape so it will probably fit then.
