hi anyone know where i can get some ready made brackets for the front and rear bumpers of a 2" body lifted discovery or anyone who,s made there own and could give me a diagram would be excellent. thanks guys.:)
... I've been looking as well and not seen any - let me know if you have any success.

yeh no probs, ive only come accross 1 place that sells them but they come as part of a full kit, at a cost of £580!!!!!:eek: there at krd4x4 in ireland i aint got round to emailing them yet to see if they sell them seperately, also if you good with a welder etc, they have quite a good picture of the full kit showing you the bumper brackets so you have something to go on shape n design etc maybe they could be copied, ive heard of people making there own, i was just concerned about fitting home made ones with a winch bumper n winch incase they giv way!!!!!!. chris..:)

I'd be very carefull with DIY bumber brackets and a winch... thats from experience. I made some brackets out of pretty beefy steel, but it was not high tensiole steel and while "helping" a Dihatsu ended up loosing my bumber and re-profiling my fron N/S corner... not good !
If you do DIY them use high tensile steel plate 4mm thick or so.
