I noticed some kind of box with connectors under the drivers seat (LHD) on my 02-disco. Can somebody please tell me what it is?:)

Where abouts in the truck is it??

Could it be the ECU?

It is inside right under the seat. The ECU, I belive live in the battery box in the engine room.

Is it an Automatic Gearbox?

On RHD vehicles, the EAT ( Electronic Automatic Transmission) ECU is under the left hand seat.

The box under the left seat is the amplifier for the stereo
