Disco 2 High Beam Light

Can Any one help, my high Beam warning light on my 2001 TD5 has stoped working, is there any thing i can check before i have to take the dash off, or is it easy takeing it off to check the bulb. any help please:cheers:

Taking the dials out isn't too hard. Two screws on the front of the binnacle, then it slides forward and off. A few more screws and you're there.
