Looks like the old Toyota Rav4 5 door, but given a new front end... would I be close in saying this is the case, but now been built by a new manufacturer... after buying the tooling from Toyota...

A bit of lateral googling should have found it... did you look at the other New Wall Motor models.. seemed to be a lot of "Brava/Isuzu" kind of stuff.
