Like this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OPEN-HALF-HELMET-GOGGLE-FITS-FOR-YAMAHA-SCOOTER-ukR2_W0QQitemZ120094417499QQcategoryZ122227QQrdZ1Q QcmdZViewItem?hash=item120094417499)?
Bearing in mind that safety standards have changed since the 60s, I'd be looking for a new retro type. Looks the part while maintaining safety aspect.
Plenty around from scooter outlets on the net.

I presume you mean a new one http://www.davida.co.uk/category.php?id=helmets these are a quality make built to current standards. The old ones were made from cork like the one my dad made me wear on the Vespa to school!

As promised, bigmark
The helmet is a Centurion, made by Thetford moulders, my memory about date was wrong as there is a date of Nov 1973 stamped inside it.
It has had very little use, but the glue that stuck the cloth lining in (and perhaps some thin grey foam?) has disintegrated, so the lining is loose. Easily reparied, i think I would stick thin foam then restick the lining. Otherwise seems OK.
I also have a clear Stadium visor that clips in place of the little yellow peak, and a pair of simple leather gauntlets bought at the same time, with one finger end needing repair.
You will certainly cut a dashing 1970's figure with these:) :)
All these were bought to use with my wee bike, my memory is that there was petrol rationing or the threat of it, and I bought the C40, C50 (?) to get to work, but rarely used it. Wish I still had it!:( :( .

I also have
a Davida Moto helmet, fibreglass with cork lining, has had tape round the edge, leather is a bit worn
A pair of padded gauntlets
Some goggles. identical to Stadium goggles, interestingly without the stadium name but where 'Stadium patented' would be has 'Patent reg design'.
Any interest from you or your friends, or should I fleabay them?

Yellow one:
Don't know the size, but I am 596mm round the head at forehead/over ear level. How much? Given it needs some glueing inside and its to bigmark from bigjim, would £25 plus posteg be a fair price?
davida:
Is much older and (as with the goggles) may be a classic, so I have no idea on cost at this time, but am open to sensible offers, with some indication as to why the offer is at a sensible price(if that makes sense).
It and the goggles and gauntlets have sat on the shelf as part of my 'memorabilia' and can happily sit there some more, just that your request made me think of them being of more interest to you and your pals, and its time I stopped living in my long lost youth.
