Thinking of putting a pair of swivel gaiters on the disco
The lightweights had them for years and I had a quick look at the chrome the other day and they were like new
Any of you guys had experience of fitting them to a disco
Any pointers would be welcome

I fitted a set to the Disco before we went to Belgium so not really had a chance to see if they work or not.
I got mine from DLS and are a glue together type. Seem to be okay but I found it best to fit them and then punch the holes for the seal retaining plate.
May also be a good idea to renew any parts on the swivels that are going to need doing before you fit the gaiters.

Cheers Budgie
It was the 'DLS' glue up type I was thinking of.
We've only started taking the Disco off road and the swivels are in good nick. Just washed the muck off from todays jaunt!!
So I thought that this would be a good method of keeping the chrome in one piece. Think I'll give it a go.
Have n't checked the new posts yet, but was Belgium OK ?

It was a great weekend and worth going.
Good weather (35 degrees!), good road books, apart from the last 2 pages on the Saturday where we all found a couple of errors - but they had put 23 roadbooks together for the weekend so you can expect some errors.
Food was good, as was the general spirit on the site, everyone looking out for and helping everyone else, no matter what country yo were from. We even had the locals waving us passed on both the day and night runs.
See next months LRE for the story! :D

Will do
It won't be long before it drops on the hall mat again!
If I have any trouble fitting the gaiters I'll drop you a PM
Cheers
