HI i have just bought a 54 disco 3 s . It does not have sat nav..is this correct you cannot buy sat nav for this car...also any idea where i can get one to fit where the factory fitted version is fitted.....thanks in advance Williebear

Let me tell you a secret... the factory sat nav is rubbish, really rubbish. You will got lost on a motorway. They will try and reroute while you sit at traffic lights.

Buy a Tom Tom, they are a lot better. And cost about a grand less!

thanks ..im looking for sat nav for it..i was informed that you cannot install aftermarket sat nav into it. I would like to install one in the original place . i.e where the factory fitted should reside.

just off the phone to landrover callcentre...the answer from them is you cant but in a landrover sat nav.it would need to be bought on purchase as the car would need a totally new wiring loom so an after market is all i can get...thanks for all replies and help...Williebear

correct. You would need to replace you existing harness with one that has sat nav - I've helped do it, but you end up taking the whole car to bits and rebuilding it. It is a lot easier to buy a new one with it in, then try and install it afterwards.
