floyd fan

My Disco (96 300 tdi) has developed a rather bad steering judder. I replaced my wheel bearings a month or so back and all was well for a couple of weeks, then one evening the car developed an intermittent squeel similar to a loose fan belt. At the same time (within a few miles) the steering started to judder badly when I reached about 30mph, it disappeares at about 35mph. My first thought was that a bearing had slackened of so I had a look and was able to nip them slightly, they hadnt slackened of as such I think the grease had been squeezed out. Anyway it made no difference what so ever. Then last week whilst checking around I noticed 3 of my wheel nuts on the f/n/s had started to undo themselves, so this weekend I completely removed the hub again and made sure everything was as it should be, still it made no difference. The juddering feels like a realy out of ballance wheel but I changed my wheels around and you guessed it, no differance. Any ideas? the intermittent squeeling has stopped of its own accord and I realy dont know if it was related or just coinsidence.
