posting this on behalf of a member of a non LR forum that I use....
1 of our RR was stolen early morning from 1.30am -6am (we know this as chap across the road came home from shift at 1.15am & the other RR was not in the middle of the road) on an single street (were at the bottom by dead end, estate in Long Preston North Yorkshire. Bertha is very destinctive. It turns out they tried to steel a renault espace at the top of the street failed & so carried on down to ours. They then pushed the RR that was in front of Bertha out into the road which was a normal classic then took Bertha. They removed the interior light from the classic as they moved it. The police have been & finger printed the classic.
Crime referance number is 1070820060 PC514 from Settle station is handling. If you know anything please call direct to Skipton plolice station on 01756 793377

I'm sure anyone with even a slight interest in Land Rovers would notice this, and the fact that they had tried to steal a renault would suggest it was opportunist rather than specifically targeted, spread the word people!
