On my pals Disco, the interior light decides t ocome on or off by itself, sometimes when you are driving, other times when you have locked the car up for the night and the light comes on activating the alarm!!! (neighbours dont like it). any ideas as what is wrong and where to look.
Where's the relay for the interior lighhting

anyone any suggestions ....

Hi Peter. I would suggest that it is a faulty door switch that is causing this.

he has checked all door switches, they all feel free, not sticky, he unscrewed them from the doors - none look rusted, damp or otherwise.

Check for water ingress in the passenger compartment fusebox.
