Hi, I have an R reg Disc TDI and at 28 - 30 miles an hour the car becomes jerky and kangaroos. You have to depress the accelerator and get it up to about 35mph and it stops.
If anyone else had this problem or knows what to do, please help me out:(

Hi, it seems to be speed related because the problem only occurs when you take the revs off to maintain 30mph. It happens in 3rd gear. If I accellerate to about 35mph it maintains this speed with problem, like wise when i drop to 25 is stops. Another point is that it doesn't do it all the time.

worth changing
also clean out the sedimentor
it is situated behind the drivers side rear wheel (If memory serves!)
if not it could be either the fuel lift pump on the side of the engine or a leaking fuel pipe!
but start with the filter and the sedimentor!:D
