:derr: can anyone tell me why my abs light keeps coming on for no reason, and is it safe to drive, and were can i get it seen to? thanx to all how bother to reply!

It could be any manner of things - a loose connection, or something more serious.

Really I would say that you need to find your nearest Independant & get them to do a quick check - assuming you have a later (elctrickeried-up) Discovery?

I read in the last LRM that one of the contributors had an ABS warning light come on which was cured by adjusting the wheel bearings. Apparently the gap betwen the wheel rotor and the static sensor was wrong due to the relative movement of the hub/wheel assembly. It might be worth checking that, and also for any obvious loose or broken wires, before going to the Garage.
