any north east events happening

hi new to the forum im just wondering if there are any off road days or anything up in my area that anyone can go to wouldnt mind trying some more seriouse off roading than just the fields at work its angus area dont mind a bit of traveling

Dont worry about your Landy. Its far more capable and tough than you will think. I first went round in a bog standard 110 with road tyres. there have been new Discos, Rangies etc go round too. If you are not sure about a bit either ask and someone will help you, or watch what the others are doing and then make a choice.

Everyone there is friendly and willing to help. As its been very dry over the past few weeks you should be able to do most of the course without worry. Its only when you get the deep mud and deep water that the standard vehicles may start to think twice....but still try anyway ;)

woulda been good to get the day off to try some of the tracks but work needed me whens there more events?

next sunday ,,,, the site is being visited by .........the Tay club ....and they have a reputation ...:eek: ........can be very entertaining :D

.if you cant make that one, the sunday after it is the military owners club ,,,with the big toys ..4x4 6x6 8x8.............:eek: ....I wont be able to pull them out .........the deal is if they get stuck ..........the stay there :)

the site is always being visited by clubs ........but yes the site is still open to the public ......lets just say the clubs are a bit of a side show .....and allows the other visitors to see what you can do to your 4x4 and what your 4x4 can do ..........

true sounds fun think i need to join a club or try and meet up with some more experienced off roaders as i am a complete novice and dont want to do damage its no a shinny but its new
