BORDC is an offroad club catering for most offroaders, we have a good active RTV calender and also run orienteering events which caters for RTV trucks. Members do do challenge stuff but as of yet its in National events.
The RTV's are held from Charlestown, right through to Fraserbrough and down to Stonehaven. There is a forest drive and general social bash in May in the Stoney area. An RTV near Memsie on Sunday. Buchan RTV's don't stick to the Rover owners club specs you can modify your truck as you like it goes on wheel base and mods. So if you turned up with a Standard Disco with front and rear recovery points (mandatory). Some nobbly tyres and diff gaurds you'll be 100" standard, as above but lifted bobbed and with dislocation then you lock horns with the modified trucks. The club is going to great lengths to provide for everyone whilst pushing the boundrys for others.
To trial then,
Front & rear recovery points
battery secure and posative terminal covered.
Brakes, checked also steering and 3 point saftey belt.

cheers mate I'd love to join. just need to get my landy back on the road first. engine has blown up. I live in udny near pitmedden. what do i need to do to join (once i'm rolling again). not sure the 300 pound fiesta i bought is upto offroading

Just go to www.bordc.net (http://www.bordc.net) and there is a form to down load and send away, its the princely sum £15 to join.

yep udny green. actually abou half a mile outside is a suburb (ish) called udny. near coullie farm

Lived there for a couple of months in 96 while waiting for Barrat to finish building my house in Newtonhill.
