I'm looking to get a Cocker Spaniel pup, I really don't want to get one from a Puppy Factory as I think they are dispicable places. Suggestions please as to the best places to get one from. I live in London but would travel to go and get one.
How much more excercise would a Sprocker (Springer/Cocker cross) need. We've decided that a Springer would need just a bit too much for us to be able to get one but that a Cocker would be fine.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

you could try http://springthing.3.forumer.com/ mainly springers but there are some cockers on there as well

Are you looking for a working cocker or a show type cocker?
There is quite a difference between the two, infact they are almost different breeds, the working type is probably a much busier dog than a springer.
Many working cockers have ended up in rescues due to people buying them without realising that there are two types of cocker & then not being able to cope with the working drive the dog has.
A good source of information on both types of cocker can be found at "cockers online".
