I spotted this being advertised for sale recently on dealers website.
http://www.rrsport.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10015/Range%252520Rover%252520soft%252520top%2525201992% 252520ex%252520saudi%252.jpg
The blurb says it is a Range Rover 3.9Efi, 1992, Factory fitted soft top, Metallic Green, Freestyles, A/Con, 26000kms and "Very rare opportunity!"
£8995. The only other comments are that it has now sold and it was built for somebody in Saudi.................
Looking closely at the picture it appears to have been fitted with a Defender front screen and wipers, set back at a rakish angle and why all the indicator repeaters across the bonnet top. More intakes than a MaxPower Saxo too.
Does anybody know if it was a Special Vehicles one-off (I hope there aren't any more like around) or a Wood and Pickett special. I read the "factory fitted soft top" to mean it was done by Solihull, but it could of course been a Wood and Picket factory fit!:eek::eek:
