Hi,

I'm new in the forum, and very happy owner of a 2000 Freelander 2.0 Td
... untill a few time ago.
Last week I was changing the motor oil, and also The IRD lubricant, and with this last one already empty and by curiosity, I looked trough the draining hole and I saw a piece of metal, that I tried to remove without success with a screwdriver.
Then I decided the obvious, that the IRD should be opened.
After nearly 3 hours I've managed to remove it, and half an hour later the mistery was revealed, I've stripped the unit, and noticed that the main bearing had colapsed, leading to an imprecise pinion movement. The piece of metal that I saw, was one of the dished washers that are located in the back of the pinions, that had been completely chewed.
Now, I've already buyed an IRD reconstruction kit, with all the needed bearings and oil sealers, however I'm desperate because I cannot find new dished washers to replace the chewed one, and also the other three (the reconstruction kit doesn't include them).
Can anybody help me by telling me were to find this dished washers??

Thank you very much
