Oh well, after 15 blissful months of driving the zook around and barely having to put a spanner anywhere near it in that time, tomorrow I start on my list of jobs for my new Landy:rolleyes:
Why, oh why do I complicate my life by buying series trucks? I could go up the local zook garage and buy a brand new summat or other (I forget the name now:o ) for less than 10k and have an easy life, but, do I hell, nope:(
This time tomorrow my hair will be full of crud, I will stink of EP-90, I will probably be blind in one eye due to the afore mentioned crud, my fingers will be covered in plasters (if I am lucky enough to avoid A&E) and I will be on Paddocks website ordering a shed load of spares:(
I can't wait:yay:
cheers, Tim

All the best, and I'm sure having sworn at it a few times - you'll enjoy it

You've got an A & E....
There's nothing like planning ahead, Tim.
Why not start with a gentle " Smack your head on the chassis" then move on to the "Trap your fingers in the door" and end up with a " Shounting for help as the bonnet and spare trap you in the engine compartment".:)
That should do for one day, you can then get back into the swing of serious injury in a few weeks..;)

dont forget the joys of parts that dont fit , previous owners 'it can be fixed with a big hammer' bodge jobs and that annoying slack in the drive train that makes slow moving traffic jams suicidal.

Well A&E is about 10 miles away and over a bloody toll bridge so I expect the ambulance crew will expect me to pay that;)

Sheer Luxury Tim, it's 27 miles to ours, no toll but I doubt there are many ambulance drivers that can get round the bend in our lane.

Barber? Luxury. We have to travel three miles, on two buses to a blacksmith, who arc welds our fingers back on again.
