Hi All,

the freebie has struck a leak :( in the top left hand side of the roof near the windscreen and the passenger door seal i have roofrails and i have noticed it is slightly lose.

Are the rails bolted into the roof with the roof lining taken off?

Thanks

Have you got a sun roof? If so check that first, it may be the seal round the sun roof or, there are tubes comming away from the sun roof to drain any rain water what gets collected in the channel around the sun Roof. These tubes travel from the sun roof down the colums between the windowscreen and the front doors so its more likely one of those tubes have sprung a leak.

Unfortuantly to get to them fully youll have to remove the roof lining. which suprisingly isn't as difficult as it would first appear, just take your time with it.

Over three years now. Its been an enlightening experience and its cost a fortune, but I have loved every clean, dirty, happy and sad minute of owning her. I won't ever part with her, I have told the other hallf every time something breaks.
