Only polite to say a quick "Hello" as I am fairly new to this forum but already have sore eyes as there's so much to read!
Anyway, my problem goes like this;
I have a "bobbed" range rover chassis that has been fitted with chevy axles but maintaining the RR suspension etc It has a chevy TH350 gear/transfer box and I have a 350ci V8 left from another project ready to fit.I did advertise all of this but the interest was very little so I think the only decent thing to do is put it altogether.
The only problem is the "bodywork" in that I can't decide which route to take, has anybody been down the road legal home made spaceframe road?What is the minimum panelling required?
Could I start with a rollcage and add on the extra steel work or would I save myself alot of time/grief by going for a series body?
I'm not asking for anybody to make the decision for me just a couple of views/thoughts on what you would do if you had the same pile of sh*t sitting in your back garden.
Thanks
Col

Have a look at Ian Paterson's Muddy Motors site (http://www.muddymotors.co.uk) and click on the modifications link and go to the last page. He's spaceframed the front of his 90. It's a great site and worth a look around.

Thanks very much for the information,
but I have just picked up (last Saturday) a series station wagon body.
It's always the way, you finally make a decision and act on it then something like this pops up!

Thanks once again
