Urgent Radiator?

Whilst changing the P gasket and putting a new water pump on the Disco (300tdi) I noticed that the back of the rad has lost a lot of the small fin things that are on it (sorry don't know proper term).


It doesn't leak and the temp guage sits dead middle all the time and warms up real well. Is it an urgent fix ???

That is very common on rads now, bad build quality and poor materials. It should be OK, just beware if you are stuck in traffic and it is too warm outside.

It will need changing eventually, it will split.
