I need to do a clean reinstall. I can not remember how to back up all my emails. I know they are stored in a folder somewhere but where?

What program do you use for mail, if its outlook you want to go to
File/export/export to file and use a PST file.. Can then re-import into outlook the same way!
Thats from memory though as i don't have outlook on this machine!

Yes make a backup to a PST file as described above.
You have to be careful with Outlook Express as the files are stored in a hidden folder.
Caught me out once when I copied someones profile, everything was backed up except their Outlook files.
And guess what they asked for first on the new install - yes their e-mails.
