is this a scam?

got an e-mail purporting to be from the UK lottery online and i'm a winner (always makes me suspicious) i am assuming it is, but would be interestedto hear if other people have experienced it.........keith

If you have bought a ticket, go to the UK NAtioanl Lottery website (NOT the link in the email) and check your numbers to see if you're a winner.

I keep getting emails from "lottery administrator" from several countries (growing by the week!) saying I've won millions.

Cheers guys thought it was a scam but you never know, and i wasn't about to reply to it......but damn, don't they look plausible.........keith
