Has any body been inside the Epson stylus C44ux printer?

The drip tank was full on mine, the screen message said it needs a service. I have emptyed the drip tank and replaced the wadding but the printer still says it needs a service. Is there a secret reset button that needs pressing?

The printer needs "resetting" after a time all Epson printers do this.

Use the program from here www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml (http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml) to reset it.

You download the program and install. Once installed you can reset the printer.

I take it that if there is a ** sign on the line with the C40 C41 ect printers on that the programe won't work and I should just chuck it out.:(

If you have the program installed it will work. Open the SSC Service Utility program. Set the printer to the one you have, it will list the printers you have installed. Middle tab. When set close it.

On the task bar (down by the clock) right click on the icon for SSC Service Utility, look for Proction Counter, another sub menu opens, left click on Reset. It will ask you if you have changed the (I forget what its called) click ok. The printer is now reset.

think I might have jumped some teeth or somthing. Just get a load of clicking if it gets that far. Shouldn't have left it so long. Will try another day as it is a bit late. On the right track but. Many thanks:)
