I need help determining the pin-out for my alternator on my 1998 Freelander 1.8i (1800 k-series).

Ideally I would like to buy a new plug for it then I could solder the wires to that but I cannot source one ANYWHERE, Landrover only sell the whole loom - anyone got any ideas?

Presuming I don't get hold of a plug I would like to know the pin-out then I can sort something out myself.

Please can some nice Freelander owner have a look at the wires going to their alternator and tell me where the two main feed wires go and where the warning lamp goes, I see three pins alltogether on my alternator..

Thanks in advance!!

Stuart :)

that has been printed off and am sure will come in useful.

unfortunately it does not show things from a hands on point of view, from this I still can't tell which pins are referred to...

anyone else?

still appreciated mate.

cheers,
Stuart.
