disco 1996 td5

car starts first touch when cold.after a few minutes i can switch off the engine and when iturn the key it is totally dead .i have been told this is a bad earth connection is this correct

There seems to be some confusion over which model you have as the TD5 wasn't launched until some time after 1996.

Do you have a TD5, or do you have a 300TDi???:confused:
