My first post on this excellent forum. Until now i've been content to read and learn, but now I have a problem that I cant find any info on. My 2003 TD5 Disco with SLS suddenly went down very quickly on its rear driver side stop. Thought it was the airspring but surprisingly discovered a puncture in the top of the air supply line approximate 20-30cm from the airspring where its routed on top of a lateral chassis member. I suspect it has been rubbing gently for the last 4yrs against an adjacent pipe or cable. Anyway, does anybody know if these air hoses can be repaired perhaps with standard pneumatic bits, ferrules, unions etc or whether the dealers sell replacements ? Looks like very small bore tube, probably only 2mm or 3mm.

The complete air harness is available as one unit, did one ages ago it was about £25 from LR,so not major. You may be able to find some push fit connectors and pipe for less from a commercial vehicle parts supplier.

Many thanks for the good advice. A friend suggested I try a local hydraulics/pneumatics supplier first and they've supplied me with a brass ferrule/union compression joiner kit with screw fittings, for 3/16" pneumatic hose, which looks about right. I'll try the repair and if thats not succesful I'll take your advice and get the harness.
