lt 77 hello should it be like that

hello can anyone help no why my discovery lt77 gear stick is leaning over to the drivers side that much when you put it into 5th it hits the handbrake

....because it needs adjusting ;)

The bottom of the gear lever has a bias plate, with adjusting screws on either side. You simply screw in on one side and out on the other. Just make sure you only make small adjustments before testing it, otherwise you might find it hard to find any gears!!
