Good afternoon,

I am looking for a manual gearbox for a Discovery TD5 2004. Can some one advise where I can purchase such a box (used and/or reconditioned)? Name, telephone, contact etc. any help will be appriciated

On the transfer box gear is that drilled hole in the center between the gears the modification they did to prevent spline wear?
Is this true the early gear didn't have this hole?
Makes me wonder if the gear is drilled on my 95 D1, date of manufacture of vehicle 10-94.

If its a 200Tdi then no unless it has been retro fitted.

This is on a V8 gasoline powered 95 D1 in the USA with the R380/LT230 transfer box and yes it whines from day one.
