I took my rear seats out to refit my new carpets and when I was taking the bolts out they snapped , every bloomin one of them, has anyone else had this happern and if so what did you do to solve it, I have drilled the old ones out and was thinking of bolting straight through, any advice would be appreciated, also noticed a lot of welding needed so thats the next job.

go to search at the top of the page, i cant direct you i aint so good with a computer. basicaly you can buy a floor panel got mine from paddocks near matlock, think it was 45 quid. you have to drill the spot welds out on the old floor, be really carefull of the ones at the back by the door as the tank runs really close underneath, then remove the old floor, youll prob need to repair the lip the floor sits on and a couple of cross braces, to refit there are a few ways, rivet bolt or weld or all together. different people use different ways, its not classed as structural, dont be to upset when you get the old floor up they look pretty awfull usually , easier to say than do but good luck . alan......

thanks Alan , I have just come in from repairing the seat bolts, its a nitemare on your own, I had my 7 year old son holding the spanner for me bless him, my floor pan is not actually that bad to be honest it has gone in the rear corner on the drivers side but the worse part is the main cross member it has it bad on the mounts, I now know where abouts the water is coming in from roughly , I have a leak in the drivers foot well and a leak in the rear top window in the roof and it is running down on top of the arch and has caused a small hole and then down into the sill which too has caused a small hole where do you seal them to stop this, by the way cheers for tha advice,
Kev.

the alpine lights are very prone to leaking, i seal mine right around the rubber seal, iff you remover the inner seal squeeze sealer in then replace the inner trim seal again. the other place they leak is the actual gutter which is a little hard to find, i got something creeping jack got it from a marine chandlers, then siliconed on top in the roof channel itself. hope this helps, ive just had to doo mine, cheers alan.....

I have only just got around to looking at my floor pan , but not only has it gone on the florr panel, it has also gone past this and there is big holes closer to where the extra seats are in the boot what would you recommend for this or is it a case of repairing where I can, also the mounts on the crossmember at the rear have gone too but I have seen these on here
