Greetings one and all!

Many...many months ago I picked up two types of oil from a Landy dealer - in case I needed to top up the many oil hungry parts of my Td5

They gave me:

Castrol Differential EPZ 80W-90

and

Castrol Automatic TQ-F

Apparently the garage mechanics use either of the two for most jobs. They advised one of the two for the Power Steering but, I can't remember which. Can anyone suggest which would be most appropriate? I need to top up.

Also, all of a sudden I have an intermittent SRS warning light. It's happened before about a year ago and went away quickly. Any ideas?

Thanks,

D

ATF is red and for the power steering and gearbox.

Dont use either, you need LR extreme climate PAS fluid - it is not compatable with ATF or EP gear oil.

Have you got the spec JON?

Autodata quote Dexron for all LRs except the 2002-on RR.

Looks like yet another hydraulic fluid to stock.

I Believe that if the Disco has Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) Fitted then it requires the Extreme PAS Fluid for Power steering, My understanding is that the ACE Fluid and PAS Fluid are the Same.

I remember on Discoweb the yanks just use dextron 3 in both ace and pas.

No spec listed on bottle
