Has anyone tried this? Does it work? does it look good? Is it worth it?

I used a similar product for tinting lights and windows from The Motorists Centre (autofactors chain) in a white and grey aerosol. It worked well on the clear sidelight lenses - I just didn't use them because, once refitted, they looked black, and on my 109 they looked odd. It was quite cheap stuff, and because the fluid is quite thin, allowing excess to run down evenly and easily, you get a very even, smooth finish that matches exactly from one ppart to another, even though sparyed individually. A second coat can be appled once dry.

I was thinking of maybe doing the rear lights on Mave..... I have those black grills that cover all the lights n thought it might look cool......?

Nop, and given that you are covering your lights - it would be doubtful if the lights would pass the required tests to allow for CE marking and hence legal status to be lights on a vehicle.

One problem you will get is the reflectors will be covered in the stuff and might not work properly, so you will need the stick on ones for MOT, they will ruin the appearance.
