Oil in Water

I just found out yesterday that my 03 petrol A/T had an oil in the radiator. It's a sludge. i hope it's not so wrong. took it to a shop and he said that the he will check the transmission/engine oil cooler. Do i really have to expect the worst?

If it's a lightish brown, it's engine oil. Your head gasket has gone. You might find the oil is creamy as well.

I do about 3 a month of the various K series models.
