Loss of power TD4 changed injectors

Hi all, I had a problem last week after about 1 hours running it sort of went into "Limp Mode" Had fault codes read, No 1 Injector problem. Had all injectors tested 2 found to be bad new injectors fitted £500. Got back sat morning. All ok till this afternoon Sunday went for drive with wife all ok till return journey. Again droped into "Limp Mode" or so thats what I belive. No power seems as if its missing. Any help please.

Its Diesel 2ltr 2001 automatic 4 door.

Just had fault code read again Injector 1 problems.


Anybody else had the same problems.. Thoughts please!!!!:(

Hi all

just been thinking about dodgy fuel!! Is there a fuel sensor on the vehicle if it finds bad fuell then drops it down to limp mode?

Think in morning will empty fuel tank and filter then see what happens.

I had put on a new fuel filter today as well.

Think aloud it only started after refuel at Sainsburys, Workshop book says dont overlook the obvious

Hi all

Been racking my brains over this, anyway wiggled a few wires around and it just stopped misfiring. No 1 injector had a slight bent pin in it. Now all seems fine. Im driving to London tomorrow, We shall see eh!!!
