Well IM on my 3rd Land rover with the Disco and ive had her for two years now. Ive done a fair bit at her (as the forum will know) and Ive enjoyed owning it. She seemed a revelation after my 77 series 3 then my 84 - 90 and I did have every intention of selling her and going for a posher one - such as a GS or even an XS but keeping with a 300tdi.

Been looking around and for the price of 4K I get a pretty good one but I have been to see a Pajero ( I know im a sinner blah blah) and at 2K less I get less mileage, terrific extra's, bigger boot, comfier interior etc etc?

I feel a right JUdas but im realy taken with it as a family car I can tow with?

BUT even if I get rid of the Disco I do aim to buy a light weight to play in in the near future - so don't all string me up just yet ok.

What do you all think - am I mad?

Where abouts in Stoke-on-Trent are you? Do you go to the 4x4 fun days at Caverswall?

I live in Longton - always measnt to go to the fun day but never got round to it.

Still me decision over the disco's fate has been taken out of my hands as the missus borrowed it today due to her forgetting to put diesel in the car - AGAIN.

She smashed into a suzuki vitara on the way home and smashed all the front end in. Nobody hurt except my wallet. Had to cancell my 40th birthday bash in scotland now, lost all my money and cant afford the £450 excess on the disco cus she was driving.

What do you all think - am I mad? I got rid of my TD5 and bought a Nissan Navara, and a lightweight to play with, so your not on your own :)

Before you buy your Pajero I think you need to consult with a Spanish dictionary, otherwise you'll look a right '****er'. Tee hee:D:D:D
stick with the Disco
