Can anyone tell me how to de-restrict a 1998 3.9V8i japanese imported discovery "county" - Have been told it only has 130bhp instead of the usual 186bhp of a uk spec discovery- how easy is it and can it be done at home?
Also does anyone know where i'll get a ignition barrel and key for the same vehicle. It is fitted with a shift interlock- only on US AND Jap models.
Land Rover franchise in Aberdeen said they would not be able to source one unless I paid for it first and if it was the wrong thing - THEY WOULD NOT REFUND!!!! Not willing to spend £70+ to find out it is the wrong thing:soapbox:
