I am toying with the idea of lifting my ES Disco. It's an old M plate but in very good condition.
Due to some toerag steeling all my off road equipment from my 200Disco and essentially causing so much damage in the process it had to be scrapped ( just as the insurance had run out and i had taken it off the road to fit new inner wings), I now can't afford to run 2 motors but would need to off road the ES.Is it worth doing or would it be a waste of an ES??

I don't know what you are planning to use it for, but I would have thought that it isn't worth raising your body or lifting the suspension unless you are doing some serious off-roading fairly regularly. I take a generally bog-standard 300TDi most places that most other 4x4s dare to tread, with fairly little problem.

I'd only lift my suspension or body if I wanted to fit bigger tyres, such as 33" jobs.
