Just spent a very enjoyable afternoon down at a range in Tenterden and now Virve want's her own air rifle as I had a hell of a time wrestling mine back off her so I could get to shoot.

As she is only interested in target shooting I'm guessing a .177 is the thing to go for.

I've seen the AA S200 T and as she got on well with my new S200 it seems the logical choice but any other recommendations.

S200T is a waste of extra money, stick with the standard S200 ;)
And yea .177 flatter trajectory, better all rounder than a .22

For serious target work you will gain a little "extra" by getting a rifle with a regulated air delivery, but the extra money involved versus the extra accuracy makes it a expensive road to travel for hardly any gain.
I wouldn't bother :)

Dave,

thanks for the reply.

Looks like I'd better start looking through the forums for a second hand S200 then.

Good luck, they tend to go pretty quickly, especially .177 flavour.

Just found a guy on-line doing them new for £250, I supose with the new 'updated' S200 just being released there will be some good deals around.

Doesn't .2 give a good compromise between .22 and .177? Difficult to find ammunition though, I suppose, but there are a few manufacturers out there who make the guns
