Body respray Discovery 'R' reg

My Landover Discovery needs a respray. I intend to do it in base coat and laquer. Does anyone know how to remove the side plastic mouldings on the wing doors and rear section. This is the moulding half way up doors and wing with plastic mock alloy insert.

Also any source document/video on line re hints and tips would be appreciated

I'd wait to get this confirmed by others, but I'm pretty sure they are held in place with double-sided tape. The originals for the DII are fitted in this way. That being the case, I can imagine they will be a real pain to remove. Particularly as the weather has cooled. Might be an idea to use a hair dryer to warm the mouldings up before you pull them off.

They are clipped and taped so you may need to remove panels /trim to release the clips

Sorry no clips, at least on the doors, just taped.
