Back from a summer driving around Iceland, and I need a little advice..
I'm a great believer in the fairly original suspension set-up for the Disco (300 TDi), but after a fairly fun summer lugging field equipment up to and back from glaciers, I am conscious that my shocks (and possibly springs) are rather past their best, and need to be replaced.
Should I get original parts, or is it really worth investing in alternative suspension components. Whilst I do drive in some fairly exciting places (Iceland, Norway etc...) and am not averse to a bit of green-laning in the UK, I also spend a lot of time using my car as normal, on the road. Having never really had a complaint about the original suspension, does OME or Koni equipment really make such a difference?
Cheers
