...Lucy the Landy! She's my first, a 1972 Series III 88 with a 3.3ltr Perkins diesel that could pull a house over!

Her body needs a bit of work as you can see in the photo below, but she's full of character and I haven't stop grinning since buying her on Wednesday (12/11/03)!

I'm not mechanically minded but am keen to learn - hopefully won't be desperate for help too soon! If anybody could point me in the direction of some trails around the Coventry area, I would be v. grateful!

Took her on her maiden voyage (for me) off road yesterday (Sunday) - I was amazed at how untroubled she was, wallowing through large quantities of gooey mud! Needless to say, my grin has become even wider! :derr:

I maybe posting in the 'How do I do this??' forum shortly as all the wires have dropped off my alternator and one of my injectors is leaking - I'm predicting that my mechanical incompatance will shine through!
