Some members of the OLLR (Old Leaf Sprung Land Rovers) have just got back from a trip to the Sahara - and they only went in old Series Land Rovers, no fancy new expedition prepared 110s....

long way down , yup , for a film crew in huge Winnebago's , a medical team , a team of mechanics with a van full of spares , an unlimited or at least pretty massive BBC budget and we all know how the 'beeb' like to spend , hoards of lawyers , guides , a large mobile canteen , directors , first assistant directors , second assistant directors , third assistant directors , costume and makeup crews , runners , researchers , linguist/interpreters and not to mention the sponsors.
its a long way down all right , down to the mobile set ablutions for a morning dump before a breakfast fry up full English and a read of the daily star.
