Wanted 3.5 V8 engine

Testing the water a bit here, but i think I shall be needing a replacement engine soon, as mine burning a bit of oil.. Before I spend on rings , seals etc, I thought i would see if there is anyone out there with a unwanted half decent 3.5 V8 they are flogging off at a reasonable price ? the missus has set me a budget on this one, so the cheaper the better...Dont need efi as mine running on carbs. cheers

Not much sense in doing a straight swap for an unknown engine (better the devil you know etc).
If you want a sound base for a rebuild I may be able to help: At least that way you get to keep yours on the road while you do the work.

I've got one.... It's still in my Rangie at the minute, but is running fine. It's a low compression 3.5 (8.13:1) and I'm going to be swapping it for my spare 9.35:1 engine (I've got to change the box, so might as well do the engine too!).

I'm in Ilkeston and I'm after £75 for it if you're interested? Let me know if you want to hear/see it running or anything!
