My CEL light has started to come on when driving.
It only seems to do it in the first 10 mins of driving but doesn't seem to be temperature related as it can get up to temp within those 10 mins.
It never does it when I'm using the throttle, normally it comes on when I back off the throttle, touching the throttle again with my foot makes it rev fine and the light goes out.
It doesn't always do it, but you can feel a change in the engine when it does do it, it goes much quieter and feels like it's braking a little, often it's only on for a slight amount of time as I'm just backing off before pressing it again.
Sometimes it doesn't happen at all - sometimes it keeps happening - seems to be worse when I'm stuck in a line of traffic, and I keep stop starting.
Any ideas - it doesn't really bother me as it doesn't affect it, I just have to accelerate again, but just wondered if there was an easy fix.
I'm supposed to be having it plugged in soon, to check the abs and program a key fob - would that tell me what the cel is coming on for?
