Yes you can - its fairly easy. Try LR4x4 for step by step pics.

Basically, prop shaft off, undo flange nut and remove flange, pry out oil seal, remount flange and hand tighten nut, and then gently drive shaft and bearing out with a suitable soft driver.

Worth purchasing the flange kit from LR, as it has flange, new lock nut, new felt, splash guard and new seal.

The splash guard is a newer design than the original offering more protection, and a new flange is a good idea as you will probably find some damage to the old one where the seal ran - it also lets you hit the old one a bit harder when driving the shaft out!

To get the new bearing and shaft back in, LR say to heat the housing to 100c, but I did it cold no problem. Heating it would probably make it slightly easier, especially lining up the splines.

Don't mount the new splash guard on the flange until the seal is in - it makes a good driver to help get the seal in place.

Just done mine and dramatically decreases front end vibration.

Whoops, forgot the circlip - remove the circlip after the oil seal or you may get unexpected results when you try driving the shaft out!
