I recently bought a series III lightweight. On my jobs to do list is replacing the Indicator switch as it is near the end of its life and is about to fall apart. checking out the wiring I've noted that the unit is plugged into the loom via 2 multi-plugs. Ones a 5 pin and another a 3 pin. All the series III switches I've come across (575383 type) have the 5 pin plug but the other wires (4 in all) are separate and have spade connectors on them.
Does anyone know where its possiable to get the 2 plug type? (Is it a Military 'Special'?) Or alternatively is it possiable to 'bodge' the standard type switch?
